BK8 Privacy Policy
This policy describes how player data is collected and used on BK8 Malaysia. The data controller is the operator, Mettlemind Tech Ltd., registration number 15779, registered on the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, holding licence No. ALSI-202504032-FI2. It applies to everyone who registers or uses an account. Registering indicates acceptance of this policy, and the version published on the site is the one in force.
What Data We Collect
Data reaches the operator through five routes:
- Registration details. Username, Password, Contact number, Email, Full Name, Preferred Currency and, where provided, an Affiliate or Referral ID.
- Transaction data. Deposits, withdrawals and transfers between provider wallets, including amounts, methods and timestamps.
- Verification documents. A copy of a photo identity document and a copy of a bank statement showing the account number and holder name, requested before a withdrawal.
- Technical data. Device and browser information, IP address, and the result of the Cloudflare Turnstile security check completed at registration.
- Correspondence. Messages exchanged with support through LiveChat or Telegram.
The fields collected at sign-up are listed on the BK8 Malaysia register page.
Why We Process Your Data
- Account management. To create your account, keep it available and apply your settings.
- Payments. To process deposits, transfers and withdrawal requests.
- Verification. To confirm identity before releasing funds and to confirm that the receiving bank account belongs to you.
- Fraud prevention. To detect duplicate accounts, third-party payments and misuse of promotions.
- Support. To answer your questions and investigate reported problems.
- Promotions. To tell you about offers, unless you ask us to stop.
Data is used for the purposes listed here and not sold to third parties.
Verification Documents
No documents are uploaded when an account is opened. They are requested later, in practice when a withdrawal is submitted.
Two items may be asked for: a copy of a photo identity document, and a copy of a bank statement showing the account number and the name of the account holder. The balance on that statement may be covered, because the purpose is to confirm ownership and not to review your finances.
Documents supplied for verification are used for that check and are not published or made visible to other players. What is requested and how it is handled is set out on the KYC and AML policy page.
Sharing Data with Third Parties
- Game providers. Data needed to launch and settle games in a provider’s wallet is shared with that provider.
- Payment partners. Details required to complete a deposit or a payout are shared with the relevant payment provider or bank.
- The regulator. Information may be disclosed to the licensing authority on a lawful and substantiated request.
- Service partners. Providers that support the operation of the platform may process data on the operator’s instructions.
Player data is not sold to third parties, and it is not shared for purposes beyond those described in this policy.
Cookies and Tracking
The site uses cookies to keep a signed-in session running, to remember display preferences and to understand how the platform is used. Blocking the essential category will stop the login session from working.
The categories in use, what each one does and how to manage them in your browser are described in full on the cookies policy page.
Data Security and Retention
- Access to player data is limited to staff who need it for the purposes described above.
- Account access is protected by the credentials you set, and the app additionally supports Face ID and fingerprint unlock. Keeping the password confidential is part of that protection and remains your responsibility.
- Data is retained for as long as it is needed to operate the account and to meet the obligations attached to the operating licence.
- Where you want to know how long specific data is held, ask support, since the applicable period depends on the type of record.
Your Rights and How to Contact Us
You may ask the operator to:
- provide a copy of the personal data held about you
- correct details that are inaccurate or out of date
- stop sending you promotional messages
- close your account and remove data that is no longer required to be kept
Requests are made through LiveChat, which is open at any hour, or through Telegram. Contact routes and what to prepare are on the BK8 customer service page.
